On The Go Ponchos are stocking on my hyena cart.

Believe it or not it is fall!!! In fact here in Indiana our first measurable snowfall usually happens in about 3 weeks....SO it is time to start thinking about keeping our little ones warm in the cold weather. My diapers are at Good Earth!!! (In broadripple)

I am so excited to have a few of my diapers being made available at Good Earth Natural Foods in Broadripple, IN. They are an amazing family owned natural food store located in the heart of Broadripple. They also have an online store which I highly recommend if you are not local (however my diapers are only available in the store). Anyways, this is a huge step for me and I could not be more excited. Revamping worn out g diaper liners!!!

So if you are like me you probably hate to throw things out. Especially when you spent good money on them. Well one kind of diaper I have in my stash is g diapers. Although I do like my g's I have always been more than a little annoyed at how quickly the snap in liners get worn out. I have a skinny legged baby and once they get stretched out we have leaks like mad. Well since they get to this point within a matter of a few months I decided I must do something about it. Here is a quick tutorial on giving new life to those worn out liners......and for all those mamas who don't sew or don't have time I do offer this service!!! (just email me)
Step 1: Take the worn out liner and remove all of the elastic binding with a seam ripper.
Step 2: Using 5/8 inch plush FOE (I buy mine from foeyourdiaper.com ) you need to bind the liner. Stretch as tightly as possible while you are sewing and use a long stitch length.
Step 3: when you get back to the starting point I like to flip it over and straight stitch it down like they do with the original binding.

Step 4: admire you work : )

This is probably what your worn out liner looks like. Take that stuff off.This is a side by side of the worn out liner (with binding still attached) next to the revamped liner. WOW!

And this is your revamped liner next to that brand new g diaper liner.

***NOTE*** This is not the same elastic binding that is on g liners however it holds up much longer in my experience and honest opinion.

Unforseen Events

I have several orders that are in the process or going out but a family friend's daughter is in the hospital and needs help for the next few days so packages may be delayed slightly. Any package that goes out late will be shipped priority. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but I will be back in the swing of things by Monday. Until then I will have very limited computer access.

Monsters Have Arrived!!!

I am so excited to unveil my brand new website and new line of Little Monsters baby gear!!!
My new website was designed by Julie at grassroots web. I love how it came out and Julie is an absolute pleasure to work with.

I have been working on the Little Monsters line for a few months now and I am stoked about releasing them. I have tons of stuff available from bamboo prefolds all the way to big kid undies and everything in between. I also have t shirts in the works as well as 2 new diaper designs that will be coming in the next couple of weeks. Anyhow you should hop on over to fashionablygreenboutique.com and check this stuff out. I am also guest hosting a fellow WAHM and her awesome handmade monster dolls! My son has one of these monsters and it is his favorite lovey.

Absolutely everything on my site is handmade by me (except monster dolls made by Amanda) here in the USA.
