Baby Love!!!
As our new little family member has made her arrival and things are settling back into "normal" around here I will be reopening my shop in the next few days. As sewing time is quite limited I will be operating a bit differently for a few months at least. I will be listing in stock already made items as they become available (or as I have time to get them listed!) and will be offering a few totally custom slots each month. The custom slots will be for you to ordering anything you want. This will keep the amount of sewing to a level I can handle while also juggling a newborn, a 2 year old and a 5 year old.
So be on the lookout for new fluff and custom slots in August! ALSO I am introducing my newborn diapers and covers which are just too cute to resist (That is one pictured above!)

What is going on around here!
As of today it looks like our little bundle will be arriving a little ahead of schedule. I had planned to keep my shop open until the end of June however, since it looks like baby could be coming in the next week or 2 I have chosen to close the shop for now in order to finish up the orders I currently have as well as get last minute things ready for the baby. My goal is to have the shop open back up for regular business by mid July but as of now everything is tentative.

The Newest Fashionably Green Baby!!!
As some of you may know I am pregnant! The newest member of the Fashionably Green Baby family is due to make their grand arrival later this summer. This is a big part of the reason my turn around time is a bit long. I plan to keep on taking orders as I currently do until right before the baby comes and then I will be taking a short time off to get used to life with 3 little ones.
We also happen to be in the process of trying to move so things are mightly hectic around here but all of these big changes are worth the craziness.

On The Go Ponchos are stocking on my hyena cart.
Believe it or not it is fall!!! In fact here in Indiana our first measurable snowfall usually happens in about 3 weeks....SO it is time to start thinking about keeping our little ones warm in the cold weather. My On The Go Ponchos are the safe and easy way to keep your little one warm on the move. As you may or may not know, kids are not supposed to be strapped into their carseats wearing a heavy coat because it does not allow the straps to be tightened enough, that is where my ponchos come in. My ponchos feature an opening so you can flare the poncho out and have nothing between your child and their carseat or the straps. These are one of a kind and offer several features that you won't find anywhere else. My ponchos have a hood that snaps on so the opening can be in the back for safely strapping your baby in the carseat or in the front which is perfect for when you are babywearing. My ponchos also offer my exclusive snap out lining which allows you to have a single layer poncho and a double layer poncho all in one. Just snap the lining out for the chilly days and snap it in for those bitter cold days. You can check out more pictures and place your order here:

My diapers are at Good Earth!!! (In broadripple)
I am so excited to have a few of my diapers being made available at Good Earth Natural Foods in Broadripple, IN. They are an amazing family owned natural food store located in the heart of Broadripple. They also have an online store which I highly recommend if you are not local (however my diapers are only available in the store). Anyways, this is a huge step for me and I could not be more excited. So if you happen to be local and want to check them out you can go to Good Earth which is located at 6350 Guilford Ave; Indianapolis, IN 46220
They also have a good selection of cloth diaper safe detergent!!! And lots of other goodies as well.

Revamping worn out g diaper liners!!!
So if you are like me you probably hate to throw things out. Especially when you spent good money on them. Well one kind of diaper I have in my stash is g diapers. Although I do like my g's I have always been more than a little annoyed at how quickly the snap in liners get worn out. I have a skinny legged baby and once they get stretched out we have leaks like mad. Well since they get to this point within a matter of a few months I decided I must do something about it. Here is a quick tutorial on giving new life to those worn out liners......and for all those mamas who don't sew or don't have time I do offer this service!!! (just email me)
Step 1: Take the worn out liner and remove all of the elastic binding with a seam ripper.
Step 2: Using 5/8 inch plush FOE (I buy mine from foeyourdiaper.com ) you need to bind the liner. Stretch as tightly as possible while you are sewing and use a long stitch length.
Step 3: when you get back to the starting point I like to flip it over and straight stitch it down like they do with the original binding.
Step 4: admire you work : )
This is probably what your worn out liner looks like. Take that stuff off. This is a side by side of the worn out liner (with binding still attached) next to the revamped liner. WOW!
And this is your revamped liner next to that brand new g diaper liner.
***NOTE*** This is not the same elastic binding that is on g liners however it holds up much longer in my experience and honest opinion.
